Firefighters from Unified Fire House 106 in Millcreek visited the Jean Massieu School of the Deaf (1655 E. 3300 South) to educate students about fire safety. With the help of an American Sign Language interpreter, the firefighters explained the work done by the department to keep the community safe.

“The Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind is giving a shout out of gratitude to the fire department for stopping by the Salt Lake campus,” said Susan Thomas, director of communications at Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind. “These firefighters are lifesavers and the students and staff appreciated the fantastic educational event.”  λ
