Election results: Mayor Silvestrini secures second term

The final day of voting completed with a win for Millcreek’s current Mayor Jeff Silvestrini who has now completed the first full term for a new mayor since the city voted to incorporate in 2017. 

The numbers show a majority favored Silvestrini by 76.77%. The total amount of votes for him was 8,311, Angel vice received (23.23%) 2,515. In district 1 Silvia Catten received 1,238 votes. In District 3 Cheri Jackson secured a win with (79.47%) 2,571 votes over Jemina Keller who received (20.53%) 664 votes. 

The final voting numbers showed that only about 18% of Millcreek Citizens voted. The population in Millcreek is roughly 62,000 and the number of voters was 10,826.
