Walk With Ease: A program for better living

Developed by the Arthritis Foundation, this 6-week course meets 3 times per week. Learn how walking can ease your pain and increase your health while you learn how to start, and maintain, a walking routine.

Walk With Ease Program is an exercise program that can reduce pain and improve overall health. If you can be on your feet for 10 minutes without increased pain, you can have success with Walk With Ease!

This no-cost on-site workshops meets for 1 hour 3-times a week for 6-weeks. The workshop is facilitated by trained peer-leaders that gives you tools to live a healthier life. Walk With Ease is an evidence-based self-management program developed and funded by the Arthritis Foundation

In this workshop you will learn about arthritis and how to manage symptoms and flare-ups as well as how to start and maintain a walking routine that works for you. Each class will begin with an informative discussion followed by a 5-step walking routine. Course begins with 10-15 minutes of active walking and builds up to 30 minutes of active walking at your own pace.
